History

The Company was established on April 6, 1973 at 2-14, Awaji-cho, Higashi-ku, Osaka City under the business name of Nichii Japan Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. On February 29, 1976, the Company merged with Nichii Maintenance Co., Ltd. (established on November 16, 1972) and changed its business name to Japan Maintenance Co., Ltd.
Subsequently, in September 2006, the company merged with AEON Techno Service Co., Ltd. and was renamed AEON DELIGHT CO., LTD.
In addition, in September 2010, the Company merged with CERTO Corporation.

1972 Nov. Nichii Maintenance Co., Ltd. is established in Higashi-ku, Osaka.
Headquarters is established at 2-14 Awaji-cho, Higashi-ku, Osaka City (Head office in Tsujiko Building, Hiranomachi, Higashi-ku, Osaka City), and maintenance and non-life insurance agency operations are launched.
1975 Mar. Head office is moved to 2-34-3 Hiranomachi, Higashi-ku, Osaka (Kangyo Building)
1976 Feb. Company merges with Nichii Japan Kaihatsu Co., Ltd.
Mar. Business name is changed to Japan Maintenance Co., Ltd.
Jun. Nichii Japan Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. ceases operations and company takes over all business activities of the merged company.
1979 Mar. Company merges with Nichii Kosan Co., Ltd. and begins construction material sales and real estate brokerage sales operations.
1981 Mar. Non-life insurance agency business transferred to NIA Co., Ltd.
1986 Mar. Head office is moved to 2-34-3, Hiranomachi, Higashi-ku, Osaka City (changed to 1-7-1, Hiranomachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka City in February 1989 due to change of residential indication)
1995 Apr. Head office is moved to 2-3-2 Minami-Senba, Chuo-ku, Osaka City.
Sep. Capital is increased to 3,238 million JPY.
Company is listed on the second section of the Osaka Exchange.
1999 Jul. Company is listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
2000 Feb. Company is listed on the first section of both the Tokyo Stock Exchange and Osaka Exchange.
Nov. Three administrative centers in the Osaka branch acquire Quality Management System (ISO9002) certification.
2001 Jun. Japan Maintenance Academy Co., Ltd. (presently AEON DELIGHT Academy Co., Ltd.) is established as a wholly owned affiliate in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture.
2004 Mar. Japan Maintenance Security Co., Ltd. (presently AEON DELIGHT SECURITY CO., LTD.) is established as a wholly owned affiliate in Chuo-ku, Osaka City.
Jul. Company acquires all the shares of Asahi Bank Building Maintenance Co., Ltd. (Meguro-ku, Tokyo) reforming it into affiliate company Japan Maintenance Seres Co., Ltd.
Dec. Company acquires all the shares of Towers Co., Ltd., reforming it into affiliate company Japan Maintenance Towers Co., Ltd.
2005 Dec. All companies acquire Quality Management System (ISO9001) certification.
2006 May Company acquires all the shares of AEON Techno Service Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Osaka City) and affiliates the company.
Sep. Japan Maintenance Co., Ltd. merges with AEON Techno Service Co. Ltd. and business name is changed to AEON DELIGHT CO., LTD.
2007 May Company forms a business and capital alliance with A to Z Service Co., Ltd.
Nov. AEON DELIGHT (BEIJING) CO., LTD (presently AEON DELIGHT (CHINA) CO., LTD.) is established as a wholly owned affiliate in Beijing, China.
2008 Mar. Company forms a business alliance with NEMOTO & CO., LTD.
Oct. Company acquires 40% of the shares of Kankyouseibi Co., Ltd. (Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture) and affiliates the company.
2009 Apr. Company acquires 40% of the shares of DO SERVICE Co., Ltd. (Nishinari-ku, Osaka City) and affiliates the company.
Jul. Company acquires Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) certification.
2010 Feb. Company completes construction of research and training facility "AEON DELIGHT Academy Nagahama" in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture.
Jun. Business areas of AEON DELIGHT Seres Co., Ltd. and AEON DELIGHT Towers Co., Ltd. transferred to AEON DELIGHT.
Sep. Company merges with CERTO Corporation.

2011 Apr. Company acquires 90% of the stock of KAJITAKU Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) and affiliates the company.
May Company acquires 54.8% of the stock of A to Z Service Co., Ltd. (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) and affiliates the company.
Dec. Establishes FMS Solution Co., Ltd. (Mihama-ku, Chiba-shi, Chiba), a joint venture with Vinculum Japan Corporation (presently Vinx Corporation), in which the Company holds a 70% stake.
2012 Feb. The representative office of AEON DELIGHT Co., Ltd. in Beijing is established in China.
Mar. Establishes AEON DELIGHT (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) as a wholly owned affiliate.
Aug. Establishes Aeon Delight Teda (Tianjin) Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd. in Tianjin, China as a joint venture between AEON DELIGHT (BEIJING) CO., LTD. (presently AEON DELIGHT (CHINA) CO., LTD.) and TIANJIN TEDA ENERGY ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.
Oct. Establishes AEON DELIGHT (Hangzhou) SERVICE OUTSOURCING CO., LTD . (70% equity stake) in Hangzhou, China as a joint venture with Vinculum Japan Corporation (presently Vinx Corporation) and Tochu Corporation.
Company acquires 51% of the shares of General Services, Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) and affiliates the company.
Company subscribes to a third-party allotment of new shares conducted by AEON COMPASS CO., LTD. (Mihama-ku, Chiba City), and affiliates the company (54.9% equity stake).
Dec. Acquires 51% of the shares of Aeon Delight Sufang (Suzhou) Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd. (presently Aeon Delight (Jiangsu) Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd.) in Suzhou, China and makes it into a subsidiary.
Establishes A-Life Support Co., Ltd. (85.8% equity stake) in Chuo-ku, Tokyo as a joint venture with FamilyNet Japan Corporation.
2013 Jan. Establishes AEON DELIGHT (VIETNAM) CO., LTD. (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) as a wholly owned affiliate.
Jul. Company acquires 51% of the shares of Wuhan Xiaozhu Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co.,Ltd. (Wuhan, China) and affiliates the company.
Nov. Establishes Kikugawa Ishiyama Solar Co., Ltd. (37% equity stake) in Kikugawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture, as a joint venture with Recycle One Corporation (presently Renova Inc.) and one other company.
Establishes Kikugawa Horinouchitani Solar Co., Ltd. (37% equity stake) in Kikugawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture, as a joint venture with Recycle One Corporation (presently Renova Inc.) and two other companies.
Dec. Aeon Delight (Jiangsu) Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd. acquires 51% of the shares of Suzhou Rifu Elevator Equipment Engineering Co.,Ltd.(Suzhou, China)and affiliates the company.
2015 Dec. Company acquires 89% of the shares of Hakuseisha Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) through a tender offer and affiliates the company.
Company transfers all shares of AEON DELIGHT (Hangzhou) SERVICE OUTSOURCING CO., LTD.
2016 Mar. Company acquires all shares of FMS Solution Co., LTD. held by Vinx Corporation and makes the company a wholly owned affiliate.
May Aeon Delight (Jiangsu) Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd. and Huanxiuhu Industrial Development Co., Ltd. establish a joint venture company Suzhou City Gaoyong Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd. (67% equity stake) in Suzhou, China to participate in the Suzhou High-speed Railway New Town Project , an urban development project in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
Jul. Aeon Delight (Jiangsu) Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd. sells 51% of its shares in Suzhou Rifu Elevator Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd.(Suzhou, China).
Oct. Aeon Delight (Jiangsu) Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd. establishes Suzhou Aeon Delight Security Service Co., Ltd. as a wholly owned affiliate.
Dec. Company acquires remaining shares of A-Life Support Co., Ltd. held by FamilyNet Japan Co. Ltd. in September 2016, and merges with A-Life Support Co., Ltd.
2017 Mar. Establishes AEON DELIGHT (SHANGHAI) MANAGEMENT CO., LTD. in Shanghai, China as a wholly owned affiliate.
Apr. Wuhan Xiaozhu Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd. establishes Wuhan Xiaozhu Hotel Management Service Co., Ltd. as a wholly owned affiliate.
Jun. Company merges with FMS Solution Co., LTD.

2018 Apr. Establishes Aeon Delight DeepBlue Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (65% equity stake) as a joint venture with DeepBlue Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China.
May Company acquires 100% of the shares of U-COM Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo) and affiliates the company.
Nov. Company acquires an additional 49% of the shares of Aeon Delight (Jiangsu) Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd., making it a wholly owned affiliate.
Company acquires an additional 49% of the shares of Wuhan Xiaozhu Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd., making it a wholly owned affiliate.
Dec. Company acquires 90% of the shares of PT Sinar Jernih Sarana, and affiliates the company.
2020 Feb. Establishes Aqutia Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) as a wholly owned affiliate through a corporate split to transfer the housework support business of KAJITAKU Co., Ltd.
2021 Feb. Company merges with KJS Co., Ltd. (formerly KAJITAKU Co., Ltd.)
Mar. A to Z Service Co., Ltd. merges with DO SERVICE Co., Ltd. and business name is changed to AEON DELIGHT CONNECT CO., LTD.
Company merges with U-COM Co., Ltd.
Nov. Invested all shares held for Aeon Delight (Jiangsu) Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd., Wuhan Xiaozhu Comprehensive Facility Management Service Co., Ltd. and AEON DELIGHT (SHANGHAI) COMPREHENSIVE FACILITY MANAGEMENT SERVICE CO., LTD. into AEON DELIGHT (CHINA) CO., LTD. 

History of AEON Techno Service Co., Ltd.

1911 Nov. Gifu Cocoon & Silk Co., Ltd. was established in Kanda-cho, Gifu Prefecture for the purpose of trading or brokering raw silk, cocoons, delicacies, fruits, etc.
1970 May The Company's parent company, Jusco Co., Ltd. (presently AEON Co., Ltd.), acquires the Company, making it a member of the Jusco Group (presently AEON Group).
1973 Apr. Business name is changed to Jusco Real Estate Co., Ltd.
May Head office is moved to Sonezakigami, Kita-ku, Osaka City.
Aug. Jusco Real Estate Co., Ltd., Yamatoya Co., Ltd. and Okaso Real Estate Co., Ltd. merges with Jusco Real Estate Co., Ltd. as the surviving company, with capital of 30 million yen and the new company's name changed to Jusco Kosan Co., Ltd.
1978 Aug. Company merges with Sakata Shopping Center Co., Ltd. and Jusco Park Co., Ltd. and increased capital to 33 million yen.
1984 Jun. Company merges with Green City Inc.
Dec. Company merges with Sento Regional Development Co., Ltd.
1987 Nov. The building maintenance division is spun off to establish Jusco Maintenance Co., Ltd.
1991 Apr. Company obtains license from Governor of Osaka Prefecture to engage in specified construction business.
1992 May Establishes Tohoku sales department in Aoba-ku, Sendai.
1993 Jun. Company obtains a license from the Osaka Prefectural Public Safety Commission and begins security services.
1995 Sep. Establishes Shinshu sales department in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.
Establishes Chiba sales department in Mihama-ku, Chiba City.
1997 Feb. Establishes Kyushu sales department in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City and changes business name to AEON Techno Service Co., Ltd.
2001 May Merges Kanto sales department and Chiba sales department to form Kanto sales department.
2003 Jul. Headquarters and Tokyo Office acquires Environmental Management System (ISO14001) certification.

History of CERTO Corporation

1992 Aug. CERTO Corporation was established as a trading company for the AEON Group, and its head office was opened in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. The Company commenced operations in the Business Supply and Vending Service businesses as a wholly owned subsidiary of JUSCO Co., Ltd. (presently AEON Co., Ltd.), after spinning off Nippon Direct Co. Ltd.’s non-mail order businesses.
2004 Dec. Company is listed on the JASDAQ stock exchange.
2006 Mar. Company acquires all shares of Automac Sales Co., Ltd. from Mycal Corporation (presently AEON Retail Co., Ltd.) and makes it a wholly owned affiliate.
Aug. Company merges with wholly owned affiliate Automac Sales Co., Ltd.
2010 Sep. Company merges with AEON DELIGHT CO., LTD.
